Selling walk
This is walk of around 11.5 miles, starting from the village of Selling, which lies to the south-east of Faversham.
The walk commences by heading through Perry Wood, where the Pulpit at The Mount gives a good view over the landscape to the south. We pick up a byway, which some walkers may recognise from the annual May Day Five Churches Walk. Upon reaching King's Wood, this circuit utilises a stretch of the North Downs Way.
We continue over to one of the five churches mention, as we pass beside Molash, and onward to Badlesmere. This one heads next, in the direction of Sheldwich, as we pass close to Lees Court, before heading to the valley, across to Hogben's Hill to soon return to Selling.
The usual short picnic lunch break, will most likely take place at Molash, whilst the White Lion at Selling is waiting at the end of the walk for socialising.
