Biddenden walk

This is a walk of around 12.5 miles starting from Biddenden, in the Kentish Low Weald, it is a virtually flat one. This walk heads across the usual mix of farmland fields and open countryside, there is however a fair bit of road walking, mainly quiet and there are verges on the busier roads. The route also takes us across Headcorn Aerodrome, so we might spot the odd aircraft on our travels. 

In brief, our route heads north from Biddenden, towards Buckhurst, then over the above mentioned airfield, before swinging over towards Smarden Bell. Upon reaching Smarden, we will stop for our usual short picnic lunch stop at Smarden church. The Flying Horse is just next door for drinks, after scoffing whatever you've packed in your rucksack.

The second-half of this low-level route, returns to Biddenden, whilst being December, there could be the odd boggy patch. 

Dogs welcome, but please keep on a short lead when required.
